About me:
Well, Kanah-chan would have to warn anyone who is reading this: She is not one of those people who are very good at introducing themselves, so she asks for forgiveness if this introduction may be a bit boring, she says she will try her best. Saa, to the introduction, ikuzo! Kanah is a crazed 16-year old fangirl who currently resides in the U.S but originally came from the Philippines, making her a Filipina. She goes by Kanah, Kanah-chan, Kanah-kun, Kanah-san or Kanah-sama if you’re feeling generous and kind, but right now, we’ll go by Kanah-chan. Her hobbies would be reading manga and fiction books, watching anime, live-action and Japanese drama’s, playing videogames, writing stories/fanfics and listening to Japanese and Korean music. Her anime fandom started when she first watched Gensoumaden Saiyuki and developed a liking towards Genjyo Sanzo, the corrupt monk as Sha Gojyo puts it. But it wasn’t really developed into a full-blown fandom yet until her freshman year of high school, where she had met her best friends, LJ user Simplicity_key, and two other people whom we’ll hide by the nicknames of Pla and LA. That was when she had started collecting anime merchandise’s she could get her hands on and started to pick out every bishonen out of anime’s she had watched. She’s also known within her circle of friends as the “Gundam expert”, for her extreme fondness on Gundam shows that seems to be rare for some girls. Her manga fandom started when she got her hands on Ouran High School Host Club, a manga by Bisco Hatori. She continued collecting the series as well as other manga series that piqued her likeness. Now, her videogame addiction started way back, back when she was still 8 years old. But she only started liking RPG-based games when she had finished Suikoden II and developed an extreme admiration for Camus, a character from the game. From then on, she always searches for new RPG, tactics based games to play. It is also good to note that she really loves the Final Fantasy series. As you can see, her fandoms we’re triggered by something and most certainly, her idol fandoms we’re also triggered by something. At first, she really adored Japanese musicals, because she had seen TeniMyu (Prince of Tennis Musicals) and BuriMyu (Bleach Musicals). After seeing a fanvid of TeniMyu with a different song, she tried to search the song that was the background music of the video. That was when she was introduced to the world of Johnny’s Jimusho, or more affectionately known as “The Johnny’s Entertainment that handles very pretty boys.” She found out that the idol-ikemen (hottie) group NEWS had sang the song and immediately fell in love with their song Sayaendo. One thing led to another and now, she’s a huge JE fan. Her DBSK fandom had started when she saw lj user roselit's entries, more particularly, it was YoungWoong Jaejoong she had been most exposed to. After a few days and finally taking time off from studies, she surf's around youtube. There she saw the very first video of DBSK she had laid her eyes on. It was their japanese single "O Sei. Han. Gou.", the song, particularly the video, was kept on replay for days. As she got to see more videos of their performances, she grew to really love DBSK and is now her main object of fangirling.
